BIOMETHANE VS GNL: THERE’S NO MATCH

If we were’nt be involved in the biomethane development services business, what do you think we would trade? GNL? Well you’re not even close to the right answer!

GNL (Liquified Natural Gas) is a source of energy extracted from the subsoil using three different techniques:

  • The first one is the “conventional method“, The soil is vertically drilled till finding the gas (usually in the upper section of an oil field). This is extracted by pipeline and undergoes a purification process, to eliminate the CO2 and H2S traces.

  • The second method is “off-shore extraction“. This is based on seashore platforms that perform the submarine soil drilling. The extracted gas, reaches the land by pipeline or gas ships, ready to be used by industry and citizenship.

  • The last method (and the one we’re interested in) is “Horizontal drilling” or “fracking“. This is a solution that helps to fulfill 2 different needs. One related to oil supply, and another related to gas supply. This is because, with this method it’s possible to reach the methane deposits by injecting big amounts of water inside the soil. This leads to the fragmentation of particular types of stones, usually rich in oil, This can be collected, and the gas that is trapped in the spaces between the stones can be collected and stocked too.

The most important and problematic issue related to this source of energy, and the methods to obtain it, is the huge environmental pollution caused by this method.

This is where biomethane comes in!!!

This is a relatively clean source of energy, because of its neutrality in terms of CO2 emissions. And guess what?!… You don’t need to dig a hole in the ground, or go deep inside the ocean to find the power of this source of energy.

THE ONLY THING NEEDED TO ENSURE THE DAILY AMOUNT OF ENERGY TO YOUR BUSINESS IS YOUR TRASH CAN!!!

Yes, because this source of energy works thanks to the help of what we usually consider waste. And that’s the best part of our job. Giving a brand new life to specific materials that we throw in our trash can.

IT’S ONLY A SIZE MATTER

Maybe the size is different, but the process when we analyze the behaviour of an industry or of an agri-business, is the same. We only need to think “in scale” perspective, because the dimensions of a “business trash

can”  are just a little bigger than the one we can find in our houses. So what are you waiting for. Focus on the upgrading of your business, and choose to do it with EBC Energy and its waste management solutions.

Biomethane is the best technology to lead your company to a more sustainable future; and we cannot wait to assist you in your own ecological transition, So be part of the change, and do it with EBC Energy
